What are the fingerings for chromatic scale in trumpet?

Need to memorize trumpet scale fingerings!?

  • Does anyone have any memory tricks to remember fingerings for major flat scales and chromatic scale? PLEASE HELP! I have seating tryouts this monday and need to memorize them!!

  • Answer:

    Practice a lot. try looking at the book and playing the scale then play it again but turn the book around so you can't see it. If you don't get it right away write underneath the notes what the fingerings are so you remember them when you see the notes then try looking away and playing. Overall though it is just practice.

i used to play trumpet.. but i don't memorize the music notes.. i remember only the finger configurations.. sorry, the only way is to just try hard to memorize them..
