Should I start Adrian Peterson?

Who should I start Adrian Peterson vs Ari, MJD vs GB, or Dominic Rhodes vs Det?

  • I am in a ppr league. This is a must win for me. I am in the playoffs in a high stakes league. The obvious answer is Adrian Peterson but just think about MJD and Dominic Rhodes. Fred ...show more

  • Answer:

I would personally go with Maurice Jones-Drew for this week. I mean think about it, Taylor was the only person competing with him for carries, and now he is out, so The Jags will of course pump up his load of carries. Especially since they cannot pass very well and their main WR was suspened for 3 games a few days ago, and will not be in this next game of course. Also he is very versatile, AP basically just runs, he runs extremely effectively, but thats all he does. MJD runs, and catches passes, and will now get a bigger chance to Do even more. I would go with him this week, unless you just have a gut feeling about AP. I would personally not start Rhodes, he is too much of a risk. The colts dont run the ball very much, they dont need to. Plus I think the lions will be trying harder than ever 2 win this one, and spoil the Colts playoff hopes, so it should be more of a Shootout, since neither teams D is super special. Hope this helps! Good luck with your game. ~Cody
