Flies in my house!!! How to get rid of them when they get in??? I dont have a fly problem in my house...?

For a quick answer to a fly right now: Hand held VACUUM. The fly is almost always near a window. With a handheld or battery vacuum, just suck him up an open vacuum outside. I've done it, it works.

The fly swatter is the most reliable. Usually they'll buzz all up on a window facing the sun almost as soon as you open it. Other solutions involve chemicals, changing traps, and dealing with gross dead bugs that have been in traps for a while. Plus most fly traps smell like rotting meat. If you don't mind chemicals, I would suggest spraying down the outside of your door, and door frame with insect repellant. This will usually keep them away from the door in the first place, so fewer come in.

Eh.. My aunt usually resorts to spraying them with hair spray--it freezes their wings--supposedly. Personally, my cat just eats them. You could get a pet to catch them--kittens seem to have the most interest, but I've seen dogs eat flies when they get sick of them buzzing around. Spiders definitely work. Or frogs/lizards. I've never been a fan of the tape, so when I see a bug, I either catch it in a cup or drop down a window and let the thing fly away. :)

You can buy streamers to hang on your door, They come ready made to hang, They are made of plastic and are off all colors. Tie them back when not in use. This stop´s them coming in

You can install a blower above your doorway so they can't come in. I have the same problem. They just bug me, excuse the pun. I don't like to use Raid as I have a cat and I don't want to breathe that in either. I spray them with hairspray. There wings stick together and can't fly. Then you can sweep them up off the floor.

fly tape is the only thing that works other then chasing those little buggers around with a swatter.

They make a flying insect spray..You just fog a room with it...Leave for about ten to fifteen min... Come back and turn on an a/c for about ten min... And they are all gone....

You kill spiders I bet. I let the spiders live, but they have to work.
