  • Answer:

Put Rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball, remove the stains from the dryer. Yes, it will get all over other clothes if you don't remove it first. I don't know why people are so big on hair spray as a household cleaner. Yes, it containg alcohol that's why it works sometimes. But it will coat your dryer with layer of hairspray... Just use alcohol... Acetone will remove the ink - BUT - it will also dissolve other paint and it will damage many plastic surfaces.

The best thing to do if a pen explodes in the dryer while in your pants pocket is to immediately run another load right afterwards, and "accidentally" leave some whiteout in your pocket.

Wipe out the drum with mineral spirits or acetone. Avoid the rubber seals and let dry well before using.

Do not let it dry! It will be a really bad hassle. Take your clothes to the cleaners. spray with Clorox and elbow grease. Next time check your pockets.

If you want something that should get ink out and not harm the dryer, go to www.shopEZ.unfranchise.com and order a bottle of the SNAP Heavy Duty Concentrate from the 'Home Care store' (costs $9.50) and can be used for carpet cleaner (I use it at home and my apartments) and laundry pre-wash. I've seen it even take permanent marker out of clothes! (and ink!).

well i have heard that hair spray is great for ink but I'm not sure that its would be good in a dryer... maybe if you used hair spray to get the in off then cleaned off any hairspray with soap and water... I use Mr clean magic eraser.... i have 4 kids under 4 and i think its a life saver although i haven't used it in the dryer. good luck

Try using non acetone nail polish remover and a magic eraser. Works every time.

been there. WD40. for the dryer spray it on a cloth and wipe down the inside of the dryer. For his clothes , spray the wd40 on the spot rub gently, let set for 10-15 minutes, then put dish soap on the spot's . Wash in warm or hot water. This also work's for crayon and gum. I have 5 kid's lol. if didn't come out 1st time do the same thing over. depends on how set in it is. oh yea after wiping down inside of the dryer with wd40, run a old rag that is wet in it to remove grease. If you need more info contact me. Happy washing

laquer thinner will disolve just about anything, but then you will have to clean with a strong soap and warm water to get the laquer thinner smell out. wear gloves, it will dry your hands out.
