If "seedless" watermelons will contain a "seed or two", why are they not called "95% fewer seeds" watermelons?

Seedless watermelons are not seedless. The seeds are smaller and white in colour, and easy to swallow.

I have to agree. That's why I still raise the old varieties and not hybrids even though they don't bring in as much money. Did you also know that the "baby" carrots that you buy in the store are not baby carrots. they are large culled carrots that are milled down on a lathe. Pretty sneaky huh.

Because 95% fewer seeds isn't as good of a selling point. They know what people want to hear and that's what they give them, so far it works with almost anything and anyone.

You know, if they said that watermelons are 95% seedless, you, Contess, would care enough count them and say that they're not 95%, but 92% seedless.

THEY SAY SEEDLESS BECAUSE FIRST OF ALL THEY CANT GUARENTEE THERE WONT BE A STRAY SEED, AND ALSO BECAUSE THEY WANT $$$$$$ AND DO FALSE ADVERTISE A BIT.2 SEEDS THOUGH ARE STILL CONSIDERED SEED LESS,ONLY THERE NOT. IF THERE WERE TONS OF SEEDSTHAT WOULD BE FALSE ADVERTISING
