It's call ridiculing the team. All teams have fans who do that. Fans have called others the Jailblazers, the Smeltics (that's god awfully creative), the Queens, and much more. It happens to any team, no matter how much you like them. Faker is actually a real word. look it up in the dictionary. I agree that it doesn't make sense since the Lakers don't fake anything.

ABSOLUTELY. not everybody loves a winning organization, i watch all NBA Teams and enjoys it, Lakers are respected because they have history, i guess 14 titles says it all.
