Hairspray - it works honestly. It also works on fabrics. Spray the area and wipe with a wet cloth.

Try using Baby sterilising fluid such as Milton dabbed on a cloth.

I have heard that hair laquer gets it off.

You get it "off" not "of". Easier to paint over it - or try vinegar

Try alcohol. If that does not work try those new felt markers then wash the wall with soap and water. Tried vinegar....

Try toothpaste i know that works on a lot of things
