  • Answer:

I don't like pressures put on me, I do not like it when once so free, I do not like stressful to and fro's, I do not like pressure on my toes, I do not like pressure on my nerves, I do not need it, as memory serves, It places migraines against the grains, It stitches bias all through my veins, I don't like pressure when I'm calm I do not like it, it's not da bomb, I do not like it in my pulse at heart, I don't like pressure from beans so tart, I do not work well with pressures high, I do not work well when storm's awry, I don't work well, I'll tell you why, When pressures high, my oh my, __________ Pressure is stress, and the overwhelming pushing and thrusting can deter work output, it's like looking over your back to see if it's going to catch up to you, and when it does, you burn out, you end up squeezing every last ounce of energy into a final posture, until it hits you like a stagnant prop, then the nerves fizzle out, then head aches poke around looking for an Advil or Tylenol, or bayer cross, till eventually, your whole system shuts down, and call in sick, Sure there may be some incentives to jostle the ego sum, but the pressing incitement would only holster the mood and manner; too much anxiety and anguishing torment for goals set too far and in so short a time span, one can only hope there'll be a second chance to throw down the gauntlet, and take on the task one more time, ..

I do not at all. I can't think straight and all I do is panic and rant, thus detracting from the task at hand.

I work well under some pressure. If there is too much then I tend to start getting overwhelmed and I "check out" a bit or maybe will forget to do something because I am so focused on another task that is at hand. I can work well when it's moderate pressure because the pressure will motivate me to get things done, and I will work faster. Also, the work environment depends on what kind of pressure, if it's an easy job that doesn't require too much hard thinking, than it will get done faster, but if I need to think clearly then I will need more time to do so.

Physical or mental pressure. They are so different to me, I thrive on graft and work and actually enjoy the satisfaction of a good job well done. Time scale pressure is acceptable as well, we all have dead-lines be it digging a ditch or brain surgery. What I won't tolerate however is the pressure applied by some little office working autocrat looking to excise his futility by attempting to bully those in an inferior position.

Yes I do. When I know the pressure is on, I deliver with speed and efficiency for a job well done. However most of the time the pressure is on because, I procrastinate longer than is good for me to meet my obligations. :D Peace and Blessings everyone

Although I can typically react well under pressure and make good decisions on the fly, if I have to work with it for an extended period of time I will typically start producing lower quality work or forget aspects of it.

I don't anymore, but I did for most of my adult life.I recently retired from Military service. I coped very well under pressure. Hence i'm still alive.

Usually not. When it is stressful I mostly think about the stress and the fear of letting the person down. I can still work and get the task done but I might not meet my full potential.

It has been my experience that I do well under pressure. Some of that is of my own making because I procrastinate my assignments until the moment when I can delay no longer. My wife blames it on being ADHD but if so, it is a functional sort of the disorder manifested simply in that I focus better when I am under pressure to do so. I have noticed this pattern in my behavior since childhood and I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to break that habit. I have taken time management courses, including the Covey Seven Steps for Highly Effective People. Do I stress out a little bit? Sure I do but I am able to cope with it and generally function well when placed in that situation. I don't recommend it others as a way to conduct their lives, feeling that it is better to plan out your tasks so that they are done by and by and not all at the last moment. I continue to labor to do a better job with my time management, in order to reduce stress. In the meantime, I still do good work when I am under pressure to get it done.
