they check your blood at the hospital and look for symtoms they would have known then. most babies that have it also have alcohol either in there system or withdrawls at birth. it would be unlikely, but i have been known to be wrong lol.

I work in middle school special education, and children born with fetal alcohol syndrome and drug addictions sometimes do not display any symptoms or signs until they reach puberty and their bodies begin producing hormones, and then it becomes very apparent. Most have processing difficulties which are diagnosed as learning disabilities, its like their brains are not wired properly. Some have physical abnormalities like enlarged heads or downs syndrome. It can show itself in many ways. Your parent can request testing by the school for special education assistance.

Was your mother a heavy drinker while she was pregnant with you? Do you think you have brain damage? If you are concern have a talk to your doctor. If you are the one drinking alcohol then the answer is no but you can cause yourself other health problems.

Well, you could have it... but it should have been recognized at birth by a physician. You should actually be able to tell by your face. Is your forehead larger than average? Do you have different-shaped eyes? There are lots and lots of ways you can tell... but some cases are milder than others. Your case, if you even have it, is probably extremely mild seeing as how nobody even noticed it during your entire childhood. If I were you, I just wouldn't worry about it. Good Luck
