Chances of catching salmonella are not that great. True it is in birds, but food inspection is pretty thorough of meat processing plants. However sounds more like upset-take an ant-acid . not Tums(that is just candy> Alka Seltzer might do the trick. or ask the druggist. Food poisoning (when you get it) in most cases, you will be bent over and puking.A L O T.(such as rancid O.J.) Your body recognized it as "bad stuff" -"don't want it" "lets get rid of it" Diarrhea is a secondary reaction to the same problem but is farther in the digestive tract. Drink lots of water to dilute what stuff you have inside you and flush it out. It is probably something else he ate..or drank that is hurting his gut.(or the amount he ate.).

you will want to drink a lot of water and try to flush out your body. Don't worry about throwing up either because that is your body like draining you of the poison. Put a heating pad on your stomach. Also, call your doctor.

Take 1 teaspoon of activated charcoal and mix in 1/2 glass of water. Drink immediately. After 1 hour, take 1 tablespoon of epsom salts in 3/4 cup of water. After another 1 hour, take 1 tablespoon of epsom salts in 3/4 cup of water. The poisons will be adsorbed by the activated charcoal. It may not ahve to hurt bad enough for the ER, but I would definitely call the DR just to be on the safe side. Salmonella can kill. About 1000 people die per yr.* See below...
