Answer:
Obviously you've had some bad history with a bank in the past, otherwise you wouldn't be on it. It's all based off your history and if you got turned down, you have BAD history. This can include constantly overdrawn accounts, charged off accounts, and writing bad checks. No offense, but I don't know why you're acting so surprised by it. You know, they don't select people at random to turn down. These banks WANT business and BAD. You have to have some pretty legitimate reasons for them to turn you down. And it's definitely NOT because your African American, so PLEASE don't ever say that again.

If you are on Chex’s blacklist, you will remain in their database for 5 years. You have the right to correct any inaccurate information your Chex report contains, but accurate negative info is allowed to remain for 5 years. You have the right to examine your Chex report and dispute any inaccuracies. You can contact ChexSystems at 1-877-382-7226 However, not all banks subscribe to banking blacklists like Scan or Chex. Depending on where you are located most banks have "Second Chance Programs" Walmart stores have banking center(s) where you can open a new checking try typing in Second Chance Bank Accounts in a search engine for your area, No it has nothing to do with the color of your skin nor the content of your character

I am currently trying to be removed from ChexSystems for something that wasnt even my fault. I was in the hospital when they closed my checking account and I havent been able to get a checking account ever since. You need to write a letter to your bank or speak to a representative. If you did something wrong to cause your bank before to get rid of you then you will be on Chex Systems for up to 7 years.

Nothing you can do. Chex is similiar to a credit reporting, but you get put on it for bad check writing. You are on it for 7 years. As long as you on it, you can't open a bank account or even cash checks at locations where Chex is used.
