If you are not old enough to get a job, then you probably do not have a bank account in which to keep the money you earn. You did not say how you found out about or planned this trip, but most of the time expensive trips have to be paid for with a credit card. I don't suppose you have one of those if you don't have a bank account. I don't mean to rain on your parade, but a big trip like that must be planned and paid for long before you take the trip. If you want to take the trip 188 days from now, you should probably have it all paid for 30 days ahead of time. That means you only have 158 days to earn $4,951.74, so you will have to earn $31.34 every day. It's wonderful to see someone who cares so much about doing something so sweet for her family. However, if you aren't going to have a job to pay for the trip, I suggest you think about a trip, or some other surprise, that costs a lot less money. Even adults with careers have a hard time paying for an expensive trip like that. If you really want to try to do it without a job, you can ask older relatives and neighbors that you know if they will pay you to do chores for them. If you're old enough, you could do some babysitting. Ask your teacher for more ideas on how to make money for the trip. Even if you want to surprise your family, it's always a good idea to let an adult (someone you know very well, like an aunt or grandmother) in on the secret so they can help you with the bank account and credit card issues. Your family is lucky to have a thoughtful girl like you!

that's 24 weeks on a regular 40 hour workweek equals to roughly $205 a week....that the equivelant of a full time $7 an hour job....if you aren't old enough to work at least an after school job at a fast food joint it probably isn't going to happen at your age. while your intentions are admirable, i think your best choice is going to be waiting until you get a little older. there is just no way to earn this kind of money that quickly unless you are selling drugs or doing something otherwise illegal. some folks that are working full time can't come up with that kind of money in that time frame so you need to be a little realistic and learn a little maturity here and realize that this is just a little out of your reach at this time. if you had really done your homework, you would know that that equals $26 a day on a daily basis which is not something i think you are going to be able to make at your age.....even not knowing your age, if you are too young to get a regular job then you are going to have to learn a little patience and wait until you can get that part-time job somewhere and then make it happen....and looking at the big picture, once you get to that point and are making a little money, then maybe you can do one better and go on a better trip than the one you are planning. good luck to you, but be mature and realistic about it and realize that this time it probably won't happen

Hi this is alot of money you are trying to raise, it seems like a very nice thing to do but a little bit unrealistic, it equates to $26.34 per day and unless you have a part-time job I don't think you can raise this money. If you really want to try you could do the usual babysitting lawn mowing but you could also with the help of a few friends maybe a car wash day that would be good fun and should bring in a fair few pounds, if you had anything around the house that is not used or needed then you could sell them on ebay, some people buy things that others think is rubbish, but anyway good luck and if you want it badly enough you will get there in the end. I hope you do.

if your too young, it is impossible. try some shadier ways to get money. shady doesn't mean illegal, it just means borderline legal.
