How many Instagram filters do you use and what are the apps you use to make your pictures look surreal?
-
Instagram made me a photo editor! That's too much to say, but I do use a lot of filters (around 7-8 per picture).
-
Answer:
I've always found that I get the best results with minimal filter usage. One or two, at the maximum, gives more depth and clarity to a photograph as opposed to completely changing the scope and frame of the subject captured. I strive to take a photograph that requires no usage of filters or editing apps at all, as far as possible. In my opinion, photography is tied in deeply to the patience required to get that one great shot. I'm not a professional, though, this is more of a hobby of mine. I use a camera phone to take my photos.
