In my visit to Coorg I was staying in the orange county hotel and I was extremely satisfied with my experience of stay there. Orange County offers all types of facilities to make your stay blissful and memorable. It has a lavish coffee lounge, Ayurvedic spa, a library, an exclusive pool and many more. The in house restaurant in Orange County serves some amazing kebab and grill. There is also a facility of personalized dining experience where you can enjoy completely private dining setting by the lake. However, restaurant in there is a pure veg hotel. Apart from scrumptious food, villas and rooms have ethnic architecture and all the modern amenities as well. Additionally, laundry services, doctor on call, private parking is also available in the orange county.

Gowri Niwas in Madikeri is a nice homestay sort of property in Madikeri that you can check out. But if you want a more hotel-ly feel, I guess Hilltown Hotel or Porcupine Castle Resort should do the trick. I stayed in Orange County, and that was the BEST.EVER.EXPERIENCE. That place is amazing. It is lined with trees, and coffee plantations. The roads are wonderful and you can go out for a walk at any time of the day. There is a small section where there is a Table Tennis area, and a spa behind it. The front has lawns for children to play in. You can hire bicycles for an hour and ride through the cool breezes. There is nothing better than that. And the cuisine is excellent. You'll never have any regrets about the food. Ever. But of course, it's a li'l pricey .

I have stayed at Porcupine Castle and I found it to be a very rejuvenating experience.
