  Hello Louccby, The type of business your daughter is starting is a service one. And there are very similar models out there, like lawn mowing, helping people sell items at garage sales. The price to charge will keep changing until you finally decide to settle on it. That's just the nature of it. You may find you're undercharging or overcharging. You won't know until you tried a few jobs. You advertise through flyers. Post flyers on lamp posts, in other people's mailboxes, and passing them out in grocery stores. You can also send an email out to everyone you know that you are starting a dog walking business. I included a link to an interview we did with a teen who started a garage sales business.
