Well you need to tell them the truth or you could get in trouble as they can find out what really happened and if you get caught not being honest then you could be up for unemployment fraud and could face having to pay back all the unemployment you were given or even jail time. Also if you do tell them the truth they may just make you pay the amount you were overpaid. Im not sure if you did this but when you file your claim and it asked if you work during this time you should have entered yes.
