How To Find Website Revenue?

How can we find the revenue of a company( not exactly but the range) just by looking at the company website.?

  • it should not take much time......... be specific in your answers.

  • Answer:

There is a way to gain information on some private companies, but it will cost you. You can run a Dunn & Bradstreet (sometimes called a D&B) report on the business. This is roughly equivalent to a credit check on an individual. You can get an idea about their revenue via cash. http://www.dnb.com/us/

If it is a public company ... it is easy ... just look in their income statement ... revenue will be the first line on the income statement ... which is why it is called "top-line" ... Net-Income will be the last line ... which is why it is called "bottom-line." -------- If it is a NOT a public company - it is not easy to know about their financial health, unless they volunteer that information to you. One way to get that info is by picking up phone and just asking them. Most businesses will be glad to talk about their revenue - especially if that helps them in getting more business.
