  You can only knit things with the number of fingers you have to work with. Anything requiring more stitches than that will require some other work. Because your fingers are rather large, your stitches will be large too. So the fabric you create may not be quite suitable for beanies or a doll sweater. It might be perfect for a blanket. Because you will be able to only knit rather narrow things, you will have to make many of these, all equal length. Then you will have to stitch them together so you end up with a blanket. This offers you the opportunity to make them out of different colours and various sizes.
