  • Answer:

What he has done is made his insurance invalid, the Police are probably charging him with driving with out valid insurance which means a fine to be decided by the courts and points on his licence possible up to 6 points which if he has been driving for less than 2 years means having to take the driving test again.

I'm answering you twice to make sure you notice. He's been driving uninsured and will get points, be fined and be uninsurable for years. You should be grateful he hasn't had an accident and killed or injured someone. all hail our police for keeping this criminal off the roads. I am only sorry he won't go to prison. disgusting. As someone else points out, this is why premiums are so high.

The main offence is defrauding the insurance company. You'll not be driving again this side of 2015.

Bring back hanging.

He'll definitely get a fine for providing false details to a police officer, dunno how much though, but possibly £100+. It shouldn't come to an imprisonment, but who knows with the justice system we have now.

Driving not in accordance with your licence as you gave the wrong details to obtain a licence so it will be void .... 6-8 points and fine. Driving uninsured as you didn't declare modifications and did not have a valid driving licence .... Minimum 6points. You may well be charged with fraud. You will need to re take test and most likely have a ban coming up. Thanks for being responsible for increasing ALL our policies through your actions, hope they throw the book at you to set an example.

Who is Jack....

Hello Lets start at the beginning. Driving with no insurance. IN10 Using a vehicle uninsured against third party risks. 6-8 Points. Automatic revoke of licence as new licence holder (6 or more points in first 2 years) He will have to start from scratch starting with applying for a new Provisional licence, Which will have a TT99 under endorsements to indicate this and that will be removable 4 years after date of Conviction. Hopefully that will cover the False information, Lack of information about modifications to the car. Up to the court regarding bans and fines. In his favour is that he had a full valid licence. You do not say what he was stopped for? Next we come to you? You say it is your car, So I will presume you are the registered keeper on the V5, You will have 2 choices 1/ Say you did not give him permission to drive the car. He also gets prosecuted for Taking Without the Owners Consent. 2/ Say you gave him permission to drive the car. (Aiding, abetting, counselling or procuring. Offences as coded, but with 0 changed to 2). So you get IN12 on your driving licence. 6-8 Points. Automatic revoke of licence as new licence holder (6 or more points in first 2 years) You will have to start from scratch starting with applying for a new Provisional licence, Which will have a TT99 under endorsements to indicate this and that will be removable 4 years after date of Conviction. Up to the court regarding bans and fines. Andy C
