How do you figure out what you want to do when your older?

How can I figure out what I want to be when I grow up?

  • I'm already in high school. I still don't know what I would like to be.

    You can go online and look at colleges in your area, think of hobbies that you do and your interests. For instense, I'm a dancer and I want to be a dance teacher when I grow up.

i just finished high school, and believe me, it wasn't easy figuring it out! i just thought of what i like to do the most on a day to day basis, took at look at what subjects i was taking, and did a lot of thinking. for example, i love to boss people around, tell them what to do.. and i took business in high school and it was really the only thing i could see myself doing. and now im taking a Bachelors degree in business! my friend loves animals and she was really good at biology and chemistry and sciences in general, so guess what shes decided to do :) just think of what you like doing! hope i helped

Well, what are your interests? What things do you really like to do? If you don't know, it's ok, cause many many people don't know what they want to be when they leave high school. I didn't know, but found out later that Iam good with people and social...so I got into sales, and I love it. But in High school, I didn't know that. You will figure that out, meanwhile, research things you are interested in, and see what types of positions those things entail. until then, a Business Degree is always good to have for many different positions in many types of industries.

Do what you like doing i know this sounds cliche but just follow your dreams even if what you like doing doesnt make good money at least you can enjoy your life everyday doing what you love to do
