Well you first have to look at what is being asked and what type of IQ test it is. Generally ones posted by the govt, county, or schools are reliable. Some big agencies might have reliable ones. But I guess you'd have to go to a reputable site first for that IQ then compair it to the one you're not sure about.

There are some people that say that there are somethings the should be considered form of intelligence but are not measured on IQ test. Also keep in mind that IQ test have been used against certain ethnic groups in the past. In California,it is illegal to do an IQ test on someone that is African America, even if they request it. This is because in the 1970s the San francisco Unified School District used IQ score to place children of African American decent into mentally retarded classrooms. Also keep in mind that research has shown that there are several different forms of intelligence. This is commonly referred to as Multiple Intelligence (MI). No, but I think you were smart enough to know that based on how you worded your question. I think even personally administered IQ tests have bias that distort results. I believe Einstein was quoted as saying something like, "I am not smarter than the average person, just more curious."
