DEAR IMRAN, Architecture is closely related to CIVIL but CIVIL is the basic and Arch is related to designing the look of building, The branch of your choice is more of Indoor work whereas CIVIL is of field work. You would enjoy CIVIL as you may have your own work as Builder. Architecture is also good, I also would say to first complete your degree in CIVIL then go for a Diploma in Arch. Don't get confused. Um it's YOUR life. Since when do parents control your life? You know in the bible, God could not control the free will of his people. They have to accept the fact that you want to be an architect.

Your dad and relatives have flawed info about architecture. I suggest you have a serious talk with your family about why you like it and convince them with good reasons as to why it's beneficial for you. Show them some research as proof.

Go with your mind. U can achieve what in which u have interest. Talk to your parents God will decide about your future not relatives.
