Yes and Maybe not. Yes, you can go to college part-time and work full-time. It is easier to do that in Junior/Community college rather than universities. Maybe not, because it all depends on your school/work schedules. Most financial aids requires students to have a full-time status by taking 12 units or more per semester (that's an average of 3-4 classes per semester/quarter). So, if you able to squeeze in 12 units of classes between your full time job, than it is possible. it's also depend on your job. Does it have flexible hours and scheduling? does it pay good enough to cover all your expenses (rent, utilities, tuitions, books, school supplies, gas money, etc.)? I am currently going to college myself and working almost full-time at a hospital. I'm paying everything on my own, including books, tuitions, rent, etc. I was able to squeeze in about 24-32 hours per week working on top of my busy classes. I started college when I was 18 just like you too.

Can you? Absolutely. Make sure your financial aid/scholarships will still cover you if you only attend part-time. Some will only cover full-time enrollment. Others will still give you aid based on the number of hours you are attending. Working and going to school part-time is a great way to avoid going into great debt with school loans. Try it for a semester and see how it goes. If you can't handle a full-time job, you can cut back to around 25-30 hours per week and still make decent money. Good luck. Oh, and make sure you budget really well. Don't get an extremely expensive apartment that you can't afford. Don't blow your money on stuff you don't need. Etc. I think you will be fine if you plan ahead and stick to your budget.

it all depends where you are planning to live and by that i mean state and also the place. it shouldnt be that expensive especially when you guys will split it and your planning to get a full time job. it probably will be hard at first but once you figure out how much money you will need it shouldnt be a problem

Try to start over like:on Sunday you get a part time job and take half of your salary for rent and the other half on anything!

Yes, you can do that, however you'll need to find an employer that's flexible with your schedule or classes that you can schedule around your work....

uhh... yes. you can have a full time job and be a part time student? its up to you completely... the only time there might be a problem is if your school has a rule against it... it could also change your financial aid or scholarships, so check on that before you only do part time.

If you manage to find a job with times that fit around your college course, or you do one of them on a night, it'll be difficult but possible. You're probably better off getting a part time job, not full-time. With the rent and bills split between three of you it won't be too high.

of course you can, it will be hard but i did it, and i had no roomies either so i had all the rent and utilities by myself. i worked like hell 6 days a week and also went to school 4 days a week 3 hours a day...so i was never home...but yes possible.

Sounds like a good idea, but I'd switch. Go to college FULL TIME and get a part-time job. Otherwise you will be in school FOREVER! Oh the agony! lol.
