Women are NOT obsessed with lower paying jobs, it is merely a fact. Stating a fact is not the same as being "obsessed", or even saying it's "unfair". Most women NEED to take jobs that are less hours, because kids don't take care of themselves, and most men do not take care of the physical needs of their own children. No one is "complaining", it is merely stated as an obvious fact... I never once thought of my husband's income as "subsidized income"... That pretty freakin' hilarious, actually... It once again proves that men do not value the well being of their children, the meals women prepare, their laundry that's washed dried, hung up and placed in their drawers... They do not appreciate the dusting, vacuuming, tidying up that women do. It is a proven fact that women work longer hours than men, especially if a woman HAS a man and children. There are no breaks/vacations/sick days, etc...from being a mother. There is [however] many of those breaks available to men, THANKS to women... A lot of men do not place any value in what women do, they merely expect it to be done and it is... Add up the costs of paying someone to: Watch your children Buy your groceries/necessities Cook your meals Clean your house Do your laundry Run your errands No breaks, no vacation and no sick days...

Some people are obsessed with promoting what they perceive as women's interests, and pursue these interests anywhere they can convince themselves there is a problem. They tend to focus on minute details, one at a time and separate from anything else, unable or unwilling to see the big picture. Do women earn less than men overall? Yes, because they work less, pursue less risky and dangerous work, choose more comfortable environments, etc. The gynocentrics choose to harp on the lower pay only, not acknowledging that it is for very different and less valuable work, and remaining ignorant of or unconcerned with the ways that men have it worse.

Yea, it is rather simple. But it's very hard to undo years of feminist indoctrination and propaganda. Good luck though... BQ: That would shatter the victimhood paradigm and we can't have that.

Because women have 'choice' whereas men have obligations. If a women chooses to work part time because she "values Independence" that has no bearing against her. If a man chooses to limit his hours to become independent or fee thinking, he's soon shunned. The pay gap is a complete myth propagated by feminists as another method of gaining funding. Many women just tout the feminist line because they would rather not read the truth. Truth provided in the link below: READ:

I know many women who make more than their husbands. I don't know any that are obsessed that they earn less. Sometimes you have to take what job you can get, even if it is less pay than you want. Some people may feel guilty that they are not contributing as much to the family/marriage by getting less money. Each person is different. For most people, family comes first and the spouses discuss this before they get married. Some husbands want their wives to stay at home and take care of the kids, or even home school them. It is not necessarily what jobs they choose, it is what jobs are they qualified for and who will hire them, etc. You cannot base this on what you think you know.

They want to earn the same amount of money as an accountant working 60 hours a week, yet do some easy communications job where they're marketing products to people over facebook working 25 hour weeks.

Wow thanks for figuring that out for me, I've been doing it all wrong all these years. I guess a women who values her independence never occured to you. Your ability to form a coherent argument is lacking, there is no data that remotely suggests that women, in general, are obsessed with anything. It's easy to make alarmist, provacative statements and put a question mark on the end. Quite a different thing to defend a poorly developed argument.

My wife paid more in taxes than I made before taxes. I have no idea what you are babbling about.

It is easier for a woman to complain about not making enough money than it is for her to actually go out and WORK for it.
