  Position is the location on an x, y, z grid (x - how far wide, y - how far deep, and z - how far high). Speed is how fast one's position changes with time, excluding an indication of the direction you are going, for example if you move three meters every second, your speed is three meters per second. Velocity is how fast one's position changes with time, including an indication of the direction you are going. Acceleration is how fast one's velocity changes with time - for example if one is travelling two meters per second faster each and every second, it is said that one's acceleration is two meters per second per second or two meters per second squared. ---
