Gently clean off the dust, that's what causes the scratches, then use a gentle washing up liquid for removing the fingerprints, you can rinse it under a luke-warm tap. Gently dry it with a clean cotton cloth. I'm pretty fussy about my collection. Don't forget to clean the dust out of the DVD tray now and again.
