The dpreview website mentioned elsewhere is by far the best. But please do not let wise cracks tell you mega-pixels are all the rage - hogwash and tripe. Go to the dpreview site- its puts all in perspective.

10 Mp is the better choice. Google "discount digital camera's" I did, and got a zillion hits, spent all day looing at them and then made my choice. Good luck
