Personally , i suggest you trying some software for help . because it is easy and safe , and could save your time. You need to have a USB. That is a cable that connects your iPod into the computer. The usb should had come in the box when you bought the iPod. If not, Go to the local apple store and ask them for a usb for your iPod. That's all. Once you have the USB just connect it to your computer and buala!! It will start downloading by itself
