What does immediate vacant possession mean?

I'm buying a flat that is under vacant possession. What does that mean?

Vacant possession is where the property is owned, but empty. The owner (or previous tenant) has already moved out.

None of the answers are correct. It simply means that when all the legalities are completed there will be no one in it! In other words anyone living there will move out when you want to move in! get this clarified with your solicitor!
