Where can I cash a personal check without going to a bank?

The grocery store I used to work at did it.

Open an account with a bank. You need to have one. Then put the check in your account. You may have to wait till it clears, but chances are the teller can call your dad's bank and verify that there are funds in his account. Then you can get a debit card and have your own account for future use.

well just about anywhere...liquor stores wil do it for a fee. as will other banks....good luck.

Wal-Marts been advertising for the past month to come and cash checks for the cost of 3 bucks. But to me that's a rip off. I earned that cash not them.

currency exchange or a place like it. also u can sign it over to someone who can cash it at their own bank

try Money mart or a place like that.
