How To Find Mobile No From Customer Name?

How do you find name of MD or customer services manager for a UK company?

  • I have had really bad service from Eclipse Internet and despite two months of trying to sort it out it's just no better. How can I find the name of their MD or customer services ...show more

  • Answer:

There is a company called Eclipse Internet Ltd, their company no is 04232703 ECLIPSE INTERNET LIMITED 37 CARR LANE HULL EAST YORKSHIRE HU1 3RE Is this who you're looking for? It may not be a limited company, or could be registered as something else. Check a bill etc. Companies House lets you search and find info on companies that are registered and active or disbanded: http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/toolsToHelp/findCompanyInfo.shtml I also discovered something else from an Eclipse Internet site, 'Eclipse Networking Ltd, a Kingston Communications Company'. Eclipse and Kingston share the same address. Kingston could be your better source for help, if Eclipse are so poor. I'd recommend that you push for help in that direction too. Good luck! Rob

Hi Chimp, If Eclipse are a UK registered Company, then details of all directors should be registered at Companies House. They have a web-site last I looked. You could also check with credit reference companies. I use Dunn & Bradstreet, who can furnish info as to who is in charge. I even got a home address of a dodgy MD from them once. It worked a treat in him realising that he would be pestered at home for a less than satisfactory arrangement with his company. Also, you have recourse to Trading Standards in the yellow pages, if you feel that a really bad state of affairs is afoot. Oh, I am not really a whinger, but will chase those that mis-behave towards me in business affairs. More power to you ! Cheers, Bob.

Oh boy! There are some ISPs who simply cannot keep up with the demands made upon them by their customers. It is a common problem and one which is in the news quite often. One of the worst culprits for ignoring it's customers was the late NTL, now owned by Virgin. If you can find the address of where Eclipse Internet is registered, go from there. If it's a UK company, then it will have a registration address. This is usually printed as a footer on their regular stationary. It may not always be the case, however. If it is registered in UK, then you can find out about it at Companies House [go to their website and click thru etc]. I'm not sure if you'll get the Md's name from them, but no harm in trying. Good Luck.

Any reputable company will give the name of the MD over the phone when asked. Failing that the directors names are in the public domain on the Companies House website, and that much is free!
