Does the colour of your car affect how much your insurance will cost?

Rubbish the Insurance company does not ask for the colour of car so how can it.

Not at all.. that was a rumor started years ago... buy the color you like

lol wtf why would that do anything? maybe if you painted your car jet black and u turn your lights off and go driving 70 mph at night. Maybe yes... but i doubt that too lol or if you drive a bright neon green car with light illuminatiing from the car. BUt there is no such green firefly car....

Its a myth

Its a bit of an urban myth but there is a little truth in it. For example if you have a car with expensive paint job (flip paint etc) then obviously the car of a re-spray or touch up will cost more so as a result the insurance premium will be higher. Normal standard paint finishes, there is no difference. Ja.

No but certain colors will cost you more if you want to get a paint job, like red and blue, and special mixed colors.

its aload of crap people sayin its because they record all the crashes and look at it that way. dont they think there could just be more of that coloured car??? thats like sayin insurance for a harrold is going to be cheaper then insurance for a ben because more ben's crash, or its because there are alot more bens
