I too went into Menp. suddenly. I tried everything and I mean, everything! A few months ago, I found the answer. Mexican yam. It has a"pre hormone" in it that will have our own body regulate itself. Hundreds of years ago our diets had many more root vegetables and we didn't have as many symptoms as we do now. Go to a very good health food store and ask them for it and explain your problem and they'll tell you the exact dose. It is topical. It will help you to sleep also by regulating your hormones. black cohosh is very popular.I recommend this above all else.there are combos that include other herbs along with black cohosh such as dong quai.

I take Evening Primrose Oil for my breast health (recommended by my doctor after diagnosis of a benign breast lump), but I've read that many menopausal women take it for relief of their symptoms. I've just started to take it, and already my breast pain has diminished, so it may be worth a try. I've also heard something about Black Cohosh, perhaps someone here may know more about it.

I tried black cohosh. It didn't help me, but some women say it does. For me, I just have to keep the room cooler, especially for my upper body. And I have a small fan in the room; doesn't blow on me, but keeps the air in the room moving.Sometimes I have a sheet on top, and a light blanket from the waist down. I do have to move the covers around a lot to control temp. For some reason I did MUCH worse in winter with sweats. I am a cold feet/hands person who craves covers. I woke up drenched many nights. I have 2 pillows by my bed, so I can swap for a dry one during the night. This summer, not one sweat. I do have a/c, and if it's cool enough to open the windows, I have the ceiling fan on. I don't know if this is going to help you one bit if you have big-time sweats. If I had them ongoing I'd go to a new dr. and get another opinion! Good luck, sister. :)

well, i dont really know where you live (if its hot, on a beach, etc...) but i think its refreshing to sleep outside one day, like on your balcony or something.
