One of the symptoms of taking too much vitamin "A" is itchy skin. Most people can take 10,000 units but not everyone. Vitamin "A" can become toxic if you overdose. I would advise you to cut back to 5,000 units per day to see if that stops your symptoms. Vitamin "A" builds up in the body so don't expect immediate results. That's the same reason you can overdose-it accumulates more each day......
