  • Answer:

I would make a case for Baltimore. The subway, light rail and commuter rail is fairly decent but the buses are atrocious. On some crosstown lines, 2 or 3 buses bunch together resulting in one overcrowded bus and 1 or 2 empty buses. The next bus doesn't arrive for another hour and that one is already overcrowded. Plus, suburb to suburb travel on a bus is non-existent or takes too long.

I would say San Francisco. Every time I rode the train I had to wait at least a half an hour. At the airport, powell street..etc..etc.. And to catch a train into San Francisco from Pleasanton I had to wait more than 45 min. Also, one night I rode the trolley down to Embarcadero and walked around until about 8:30 and there were no trolleys that would take me back. They were all stoped at the end. This was during the Holidays so maybe that had something to do with it, but im glad I don't live in SF and have to get somewhere fast.

Houston is the capital of NO public transit. You should see the little toy train they built that goes from the football stadium to the baseball stadium. It actually runs on city streets and is controlled by traffic lights at some intersections but not all,it's your job to guess which ones.If you want ot go from the northwest side to the airport on the north side, you have to go downtown to transfer buses. If you don't own a car in Houston,it's like being a parapalegic in the Andes Mountains.

San Diego California has a horrible public transportations system it will take you 3 hours to get from one end of town to the next..I drive but I would take public transportation if it was better than what it is now..

Can i pick all of the above? Its a shame we dont have better public transportation, such as subway systems in more cities.
