See if your employer has automatic deposit, This way your pay check goes straight into the bank, you can tell your employer how much money is to be put into a savings account! then what ever you do don't touch the savings account. Also try taking your lunch to work instead of buy it there you will save alot of money in the long run! good luck.

open a savings acc. so that you can not touch for 6 m put 20 or 30 dollar a week in soon it will build up for that car.

i have the same problem. i set my online banking to transfer money every week from my checking to savings. that way i never actually see the money. cut down on the little things...don't buy lunch, make it at home. i fill up my bottles of water in the water cooler at work. little things help.

Buy a notepad, and every time you spend _anything_ write down what you bought and how much it cost. Use a new page for each day. After 2 or 3 weeks of doing this, make a budget with how much you get paid weekly (revenue), and what you spent money on in the past 2 weeks (expenses). Only spend money on what you absolutely need plus a little extra (spending money). Make a note of how much is left over. Bank it and if you don't put enough away, take some out of your spending money to make up the difference next week. You must be disciplined. Good luck. Oh yeah, the alternative is to get a second job, or a promotion, or a higher paying job. Only 2 ways to increase your cash flow, cut your expenses or increase your revenue.

The best way is to make a chart. a piece of paper and divide in quarters. there will of course be 4 boxes. divide the net pay so each week has the same amount. you know what you have to pay and the bills you have. A good way to save is automatic deductions. IF you dont see it you cant spend it. Good luck

budget your money, writing down all of your necessary expenses and using your money only for that. for example, you have to pay rent, buy food, and pay for utilities. write out what you will need to put aside for these things, and any other payments you need to make (cable, phone, etc.), and don't spend any more money then you need to! you might want to think about budgeting in like, $20 for fun stuff, because you don't want to be too bored. but once that $20 is up, that's it! try your hardest to stick with it, because a new car is definitely worth the effort.

You need to sort out your priorities. What are you spending your money on? Do you keep buying things that you WANT instead of things that you NEED? Save your money. Be wise and you will achieve your goal in no time.

well think when u buy sumthing is it sumthing that u need like food drinks etc. or is it sumthing that u want the first thing u need to do to save money is only buy things that u need dont waste it on things that u want

Pay your bills, tithe and keep 10% for yourself. Save the rest. Or go to the bank and have someone help you...or get a part time job...
