Answer:
I don't know why someone would want to go to so many years of school (and pay for it) to become a brain surgeon if you aren't going to make more money.

everybody would be poor, and the standard of living would decrease dramatically. education levels would deteriorate meaning no one would ever go to school again, and unemployment would be 80%

Collapse. Think Russia. No one would invest in their education because there is no reason for them to do so. They can work some piddly job at Wally's and know that they are guaranteed the money a surgeon makes, for no more effort than when they made half that wage. People would be miserable in general, and they wouldn't give a damn about anything.

Yes society would change, I don't think the brain surgeon would be too happy making the same amount of income as a gas-jockey. Were not communists.

Most people wouldn't aspire to do much but we would still need people to do all those advanced jobs and you can only have so many working at walmart. So what would happen standards would go down a lot for educated groups like surgeons and that would be bad for society. Most people would be less happy I think.

id say less people would be educated, more people would drop out and fall under the influence, prices would be dropped, actually i think the whole money system would have to be changed or stopped cause everyone has the same amount of money and everyone makes the same so even if u sell someone lots of stuff you and him both still make 20 so it wont work, id say less happy more insane
just another arabian
There would be more drug dealers
