Why do most humans tend to rush to someones aid,in times of that persons crisis???

It's a culture thing. There are some cultures where people don't rush to help anybody. So it's not quite a "human" thing. It is more related to morals. If you are taught, or you've seen people helping other people, maybe your parents being helped, then you will probably grow up valuing helping others. That means that your grow up to feel good when you help someone. This is a very "selfish" thing to do if you analyze human behavior at very basic levels. The hormones involved in a person perceiving happiness is created whenever that person performs something that he learned to value(such as helping others). Therefore you are doing something which makes you happy => an act selfish in nature. But as far as the society is concerned you would be doing something selfless, as in providing your resources (time, other abilities) to help others for no direct profit. This kind of behavior keeps societies together very strong. It should be performed by everyone in an ideal society.

Very good question...and I've never thought about it before. I suppose it has to do with our compassion...we someone and we rush to help them...also, survival of the species may play a part. Most of the time people don't think when they rush in to help someone...so it must be some innate feeling. Very interesting question.

Humans are social creatures, like monkeys, when we see something like that our conscious mind just goes "uh durrrr...." and our subconscious impulses take over, we revert to a sort of primitive ape except with really cool toys, deep down inside we know that if we don't protect those who need it, no one will be there to protect us when we need it, so it's a thing where animal instinct says "help the needy" but even that is based on the even more basic animal instinct "help yourself."

Because we all come from the same family. We belong to the human race. Colors do not matter at the time of crisis. My hope is that we never need crisis to come together in unity.

Because if you don't then you're being mean.

BECAUSE THAT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO... WOULDNT U WANT SOMEONE TO COME TO YOUR AID?????
