Do you like knitting or crocheting? I enjoy knitting and crocheting, but I like knitting better.?

I learned to crochet when I was a wee lass, and only learned to knit 6 years ago. I like both my self b/c it really depends on what kind of texture I want, for the end piece. But if I had to choose ONLY one, i would go with knitting because I like how it feels. I also really enjoy using both hands, as apposed to one.

I've done both. Enjoy crocheting more. Crocheting works up faster for me, I also learned it easier than knitting. :) Marylhall

I like knitting better. I'll add crochet trim or border to my knitting, but I prefer the look of knitted garments and lace.

I do both and prefer crochet. I've been knitting since I was a child and only learned to crochet about 2 years ago. I find knitting takes too long...with crochet, I see the results quicker. But when I'm working with a novelty yarn I almost always knit...I can find my stitches easier.

I like to knit and crochet. I find knitting a little more difficult than crocheting, but I seem to like knitted sweaters better than crocheted sweaters.

So far, I like crochet best. I seem to drop stitches when I knit, but I've been practicing. I really want to do both very well.

I learned to crochet first so I have a little more fondness for it. If it is a small project I prefer to crochet. Bigger projects look better it they are knit. I love them both, but knitting is a little easier to do.

I like crocheting better. I can do both, but I get bored and frustrated with knitting. I don't like dealing with two needles... one hook is easier. I agree that it is more free form, I think that's what I like about it. And I learned to crochet first, so maybe that's why I'm more comfortable with it.

I like crocheting better. It seems to me that you can make more interesting, frillier patterns with crochet. Also, when I make a mistake while knitting, it is harder for me to go back to the mistake and fix it.
