There are a TON of ways to monetize blogs and you can literally create micro-niche blogs on every subject imaginable - drive traffic, and monetize via adsense or a vast array of affiliate offers. The most successful method is creating a highly focused blog on a particular niche you are interested in (nobody wants to keep a blog alive on a subject you have no interest in), find affiliate products through clickbank or anyone of hundreds of other affiliate networks - be it linkshare, or amazon, or shareasale, or clickbank, or even CPA (cost per action) lead offers where you can make money just for people submitting their zip codes. I would like to share my experience with all of my friends. I have seen some people trying hard to earn money while many others are earning big money from different programs. The best way to make money online is through Adsense and other affiliate programs....everytime someone click on your ad from google....google will send you a check in the mail once a month once you surpass the $100 mark. You basically just start up a blog and get it well known and ranking well in the search engines like google, yahoo, etc for whatever you are going after better known as your "keywords" and the traffic will just pour in and some will click on ads others will read and leaven Basically it's like this...adsense is free to sign up for....so is blogger...lets say that I am going to start up a blog on anti virus software....find out what people type into the google search engine when they are looking for antivirus software and try to rank on the first page of the search engine result page and most likely you will traffic in the 1000's per day...depending on what your topic is about. You can make money thru blogging or building a website. But for the search engines and visitors to find your site in the first place, you have to offer them something worthwhile to read about. I've built a website about something I know a lot about, and it has been very succesful. I generate money from pay-per-click ads and from affiliate deals with companies for products that will benefit my visitors. You can create your pages as a blog, but with the advantage of building a full website that belongs to you. Of course, if you know about all of those things you can do it yourself, but for me, my time is spent better elsewhere! Building a site is also something that takes time.
