  When you are making food to sell, you have to have a license. The license is to show that you are following certain regulations to make and serve the food. Things like stainless steel kitchens. Get a license and then bring some of your wife's best dishes to your local farmer's market or if you happen to have a lot of spare moolah, open a restraunt or a cart that will sell your goods. Companies usually don't use outside products. They hire people to create new recipes and products. I knew a couple who work for Sarah Lee, designing bread as their job.
