What was the 2013 SHSAT 9th grade cutoffs for Brooklyn Tech?

  • I got a 501 and still didn't make it into Tech. The only school I got into was Brooklyn Latin but I'm not going to go. Also, what were your results?

Heyyy im taking the 9th grade shsat this year Can u plz tell me how much harder is the 9th grade shsat? Is the math much much harder or is it about the same but only the scores are higher? Is the Ela also harder or about the same?

ahh you're so close! nono, the 9th grade cutoffs are much higher sadly :( my friend got into latin too (but she's not going) with a 500! so my best guess is, the 9th grade cutoffs are 20 pts higher-- so 520 (suitable for bronx science if you take the test in 8th grade), would probably be enough to get into tech. I'm in 8th grade though, barely passed the bronx science cutoff lol I got 520 but hey, I made it ^-^
