    Cancer is very rare that young, and it's usually NOT painful. There is always a chance, but I say it's less likely that its cancer. Maybe a polyp or hernia or something

So how was this lump found and how does he know it is hard if you did not have a colonoscopy? BTW that checks the inside of the colon not the outside.

That is a question you should have asked your doctor yesterday. He is the expert.

You shouldn't worry about cancer unless you have the colonoscopy and a biopsy shows the presence of cancer. Your age would make that less likely. Don't worry about something that hasn't happened yet, in other words. (I have have stage III thyroid cancer).

Pray to god or hope its not cancer, if it is complete your bucket list cause there always a chance of death. Sorry and I send out my prayers
