1) This is the Astronomy section. Astronomy has nothing to do with biological evolution. 2) Opinions don't matter when you have facts. The fact is, evolution has occurred and is occurring. It's the most well-documented scientific theory we have. Your opinion does not change the fact. 3) Theories are not elevated to facts. Theories are ABOVE facts. They CONTAIN facts, laws, and observations. Theories are superior because they tell us not only WHAT will happen by WHY it happens.

I think they're awesome, plausible, and verifiable with further advances in science. They are more believable than the medieval superstitions about a man living in the sky. I suspect that there are A LOT of people (particularily Americans) who have never made an attempt to understand it, they just scoff and push it aside because their churches tell them to.

I think that the therories are mostly correct. I mean, we have the bones right in front of us, like dino bones, primate bones developing, etc. plus there are things that are naturally preserved, and we can tell from then alone things jiust didnt get created by god. i believe in god, i think he made the things grow like growing pills. haha anyway, thats my standpoint.

hello there, cupcake!

I think that, if you take the time to read about it and understand it, you will say "Of course! I already knew that!" It is all so simple and straightforward that it is really pretty difficult to argue against it - once you understand it. In fact, virtually all of the arguments against it were explained and elegantly refuted by Darwin in his book "The Origin of Species" over 150 years ago. And there is much more evidence supporting it now than there was back then. I highly recommend that you read it.

Theories of evolution are a load of bull. People think they are smarter than God. Oh please.

if the world was a jigsaw puzzle and science was putting it together evolution would be one of the missing links, um, i mean pieces. Sorry, Freudian slip. There is no scientific proof of evolution, yet, they push it like it is fact. Whats the temperature of the sun? How big is the universe? How was the universe created? Whats on the other side of a black hole? how many dimensions are there? Science has some good ideas but, they are just ideas. eri contradicts herself, she claims evolution is a well documented fact? its the best theory we have? eri? theories + facts = laws theories without facts are just that - theories
