I have been reading a lot about Arvind Kejriwal being a congress member so made a conspiracy theory about him. It goes like this: AK is actually a deep undercover asset planted by Congress to take out Modi-raj. We all know that congress has been in power for almost 50 years at the center, which mean that they understand politics and are good in strategizing. So when they saw the rise of NaMo in Gujarat, they realized that he would certainly wipe out Congress from the political arena for a significant time period. So they developed a master strategy. Give people an alternative to BJP and Congress, and not just any new party. A party with a clean image, a party based on the principles that congress didn’t have. And it was very easy to do so. People were angry at congress. Just channelize this anger. They got the opportunity when they saw a civil protest rising with Anna Hazare. All they needed was an inside man. Someone with a proven track record of being an ideal citizen, and probably well-educated to gather support of the youths. And they find an ideal candidate. Arvind Kejriwal. He joined the protests and stood by Anna Hazare. He condemned the corrupt government and wanted the Jan Lokpal bill. People supported the movement, so they followed him too. Then came Delhi elections. Congress already knew that the educated population of Delhi would never vote for congress this time. Their political analysts predicted an embarrassing loss. So now was the time to test their experiment. They ask their agent to ditch Anna Hazare’s shadow and form a political party. Although he had said that they would not go to politics, but still they decided to fight the elections. Despite going against his words, people supported him. Why? Because they saw a ray of hope. They saw him as a savior. Although I am writing this now, but at that time I also say him as a messiah who would write all wrongs. People (including me) stood behind him, literally and figuratively. We started idealizing him. He rose from the ashes that Congress was turning into. So as they say “enemy of an enemy is a friend”. Congress was that common enemy in Delhi. People supported him. Students managed his online campaigns. NRIs donated to his fund. Not only the NRIs, normal middle class working populations and college going youth, who were the least bit interested in politics till then, contributed to his funds. It became the largest crowd funded start-up ever. Congress felt relaxed. They told him to vehemently criticize the Delhi government. And boy he did. He cried foul to all of opponent’s moves. But the people didn’t mind. Finally, he won but not with a majority. So now what. Congress was in a fix. But they had 6 seats, and supported him from the outside. Now Congress realized, that their scheme was working. People were looking up to their agent. So now it was time to execute the master plan. THE NATIONAL ELECTIONS. So as commanded, the agent resigned from the CM seat and fought against BJP. Again he followed the tried and tested strategy. The strategy that he had used in Delhi. Congress was sure that this move would also be a success. But it is here that they miscalculated. People were angry at them (Congress) and not the BJP. Although BJP was also not 100% clean, people never felt intense hatred toward them. Some even supported them, be it religious reasons or the charisma of their leader. But they did support BJP. This time when AK opposed NaMo, people did not like it. So ultimately, the secret agent lost. Now congress re-evaluated their strategy. It’s better to follow a bottoms up approach. They send their agent back to Delhi and concentrate there. He again wins, this time with an overwhelming majority. Now congress thinks, people love him no matter what. This is how politics works right. When you choose a side you support that side, no matter what. Here is where they committed a mistake. They let him show his true colors. He does not produce the “proofs” against Sheila Dixit (it is a high probability that he never had them, or Congress had given him those proofs and asked to release them only in case of a dire need. And currently there was no emergency to show such proofs). To curb the rise of NaMo, support Lalu in the Bihar. Although the promised 1.25 Lakh Crore would benefit the state, but still oppose it to propagate your own political agenda. It does not matter which side wins, the money is ultimately going to benefit the state. And this is where the story stands currently. I will update it depending on what happens in future. I know I will be severely criticized for this post, but please understand that there is a reason that I have written the word “Conspiracy Theory”. Because it is wild conjecture. I obviously do not have any proof. I was just bored and made this up. P.S. The best part is that the mastermind of this theory is Rahul Gandhi. He has himself spread dumb jokes about him in the media, so that people do not realize his true intellect. And even if this strategy sees the light of the day, people would not believe it. - A RaGa fan
