  • Answer:

Since you are interested in finance, there is two possible ways I can think about:Become business analyst in financial domain - Usually business analyst requires both functional and technical knowledge, and they interface with clients to elicit requirements and provide to the development team. Look at CBAP kind of certifications and get a strong hold of financial domainBecome Functional Consultant - Acquire good financial domain knowledge, and training yourself in SAP FI/CO ( Hot jobs in the market ) can land you as SAP Functional consultant and will help you move towards that kind of a career. If you look at it, either ways you need to start working to acquire financial domain knowledge, as I always emphasize in most of the answers " Networking " will always get you to great opportunities. Connect with people in that area and understand how did they make the transition , and you should be able to crack it.Hope this makes sense!
