What sizes and resolutions should I use to design tripod and wall banner?
-
I am supposed to design three tripod banners and one wall banner for this coming world environment day but I'm confuse about the most used sizes and resolution to design these.

Answer:
300dpi at canvas size. So if your banner is 80cm x 100cm(H), then the resolution should be at that size, at 300dpi. However, if no one is going to look at the banner at a close range, then a 200dpi would suffice. If you are inserting images in your design, the resolution of the image should be at the size you are expanding the image in and at 300dpi or 200dpi. Otherwise, you might end up with vectors being printed clearly, but fuzzy images. If all your designs consist of vectors - you wouldn't have issues with resolution as vectors are scalable.
