Is Florida Institute of Technology a good university?

Which do I decide between KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Penn State University for Masters in Achitectural Lighting Design?

  If you list the priorities of your considerations, it will be easier to find a way out. Otherwise I could only state from a general view. I was at KTH last year and am at Penn State this year, both for graduate schools. But I don't know about your major so that I couldn't give advice based on academic integrity. If you are a European citizen, KTH will be better. You might save a lot for not paying tuition fees. Plus, there are few European students at Penn State so that you might feel it an uncomfortable zone to stay here. If you have to be a self-sponsored student for both institutions, then it's time to think about the trade off. There is no doubt that Stockholm is way better than State College as a place to live for 2 years. I was extremely disappointed  about the public transportation in the US after getting used to what was at Stockholm. You'll be screwed at State College if you have no plan to buy a car. Since you're majoring in engineering, you'll have one year of OPT to get an internship in the US after graduation. So if you wanna some working experience abroad, Penn State might overweight KTH in this way.
