How many advertisements are within one magazine generally?

If one has a beautiful online magazine but it does not seem to be attracting enough readers on the website in order to rank well on alexa and be able to make money from advertisements. Any suggestions on the best way to build daily readership?

Make sure you have identified who you want to be reading your magazine, and more importantly make sure you understand what types of articles they want to read. Then give them what they want. This is the only way.

If they can't FIND your content.... * Ask for advice from successful people in related/ non-competing fields. Call people, treat them to lunch or coffee, and HUMBLY ask their advice. You will learn รข€” and build your network at the same time. * "Beautiful" is NOT stock photography or stock illustration!! Can't stress THIS enough. If you aren't budgeting for original images? You're doomed from the start. Besides... your artists will plug your mag. How's that for a start? (I've got tons more... but then you'd have to pay me a consulting fee.)
