Any Anime like Sailor Moon?

Why are the Inner Senshi *so* much weaker in the anime compared to Sailor Moon?

  If we are talking about raw destructive power, there is a bit of a necessary initial skew. At the beginning, Usagi is still fighting without any backup - and narrative necessity dictates that even her normal attack skill (the tiara) alone must be powerful enough to defeat the current monster-of-the-week. Barely. Once the others join the team... well, at least Sailor Venus seems quite capable of handling situations on her own (not that she often does). Still, I think it's not that the attacks of the other sailors are really too weak. After all, in most cases Usagi only blasts the monster-of-the week after it already took a beating from one of the others. Meaning she may be the one who finishes the job, but at that point, most of the monsters hitpoints are already gone. Admittedly things do indeed become mismatched once Usagi acquires the Silver Crystal. After that, I'm willing to concede that she usually does not really need them anymore... when it comes to raw firepower. That's the catch, though. The actual point to raise here is that SailorMoon is rather a story about friendship&love than about blasting crazy magical monsters from space. In other words, the backup that she gets from them - especially whenever we are nearing the climax of any season - is of an emotional nature first, and of a magical nature only second. Well... usually both wrapped into one, actually: The plot actually makes it rather clear that - times and again - she would have gotten defeated by the big bads, had it not been for the help of her friends. So yes, they may indeed be weaker than her - but they are still indispensable in the grand scheme of things. Finally, if you want a reasoning why Usagi is stronger (not counting the Silver Crystal, which is simply a privilege of her position as princess of the moon): Well, keep in mind that the setting of the series is the Earth. And she gets her powers from the moon. Meaning one can argue that her power source is magnitudes closer than those of all the others.
